its the back though isnt it, whiplash and what not, but there wasnt any impact to them probably.

That car saved them ironically due to its size, who knows if they are any good in crashes as that to the front would have resulted in two deaths for sure. But still ******s.

How they get into your house?

I guess they're no closer to finding the subhumans who did that? The human race worries me sometimes. I know it's just a car, but still..

Have they not been caught yet?

I`ve had my car broke in a few times and its an awful feeling. luckily in some ways I cant afford a decent car so they dont take it for a drive.

Still how they get into the house?

could have been alot worse tbh, you might not have woken up the next morning if you know what i mean, a secure home is imperative imo these days..

They fished the key to the back door with something and pulled it out of the cat flap then unlocked the backdoor and let themselves in. When the police arrived to wake me up and tell me that my car had been involved in an accident, the backdoor was locked with the key in the outside!! They locked the door behind them!!

Apparently one of them got picked up last Wednesday and has been remanded in custody - exact match to DNA from blood apperently but with 'no visible sign of injury'...

probably to slow down a potential pursuer - I'd probably stopped snoring and they may have thought I'd woken up!

Thats the thing with all the new car security measures, they don't stop car thieves they just make them go the extra mile, like now instead of popping the locks and hot wiring it, they kick your door down and find your keys or wait for you to do something silly like leave it running whilest you open your gates or garage or if all else fails wait for you to unlock it, get in it with you and shove a knife in your face.

Thats a real jip about your NCB as well. Insurance is such a con, you're meant to be insuring against loss, but in actual fact you are paying for the privilege of taking out a loan if you ever claim because they just boost your premium to recoup the cost of a claim anyway.

That is a bugger Gibbo. I sympathise, especially with the wife situation. I had a similar thing happen in Luxembourg and the little fxxxers (a bunch of opportunistic junkies) cracked my wife’s car (Mercedes CLK, B-pillar-less) window, nicked the garage opener and got into the house.

They nicked my wife’s handbag, which I bought in Monaco as a consolation prize because she couldn’t come with me. So they got her purse, diary, address book, Mont Blanc pen (not made any more) car keys, house keys, etc.

It cost an arm and a leg to replace the keys, I got the handbag and purse back on insurance, but every single other item was a massive pain in the arse, but the worst was my wife worrying that the would come back in the period between nicking the keys and me being able to replace them.

We have a dog now. He’s not very big, but he’ll be a hell of a deterrent once he’s fully grown.

I know that, with a baby on the way, you can’t get a dog, but if your wife is still worried once the baby is walking you might think about it.

    (Thanks Evilmunky)

you got any mates who can sleep downstairs for a week, while she calms down? It's nervous times like burglary that make pregnancy unsettled.

If you asked someone else to come and stay and sleep in the living room for a few days she'd be calm, I bet
