The main thing with incidents like this is dare I say it..not to over react.
Obviously if you care more about your family than you do about the car you really should continue to leave the keys downstairs as you dont want the buggers coming to find them once they are inside and desperate..this is when people get hurt.
Leave them somewhere they can be seen but not had easily with fishing rods and the like.
I'm sure it was a nice car and everything but it does seem strange they would go to so much effort over it. My parents had a visit from the local bobby because they had an impreza in the garage and the guy up the road with his M3 got one too jsut to warn them but a mazda 6..very odd.
Idd its a strange choice, but maybe it was just an easy steal?
why would you lose your ncb as it wasnt your fault they stole it? i thought you only lost your ncb if it was your fault like you went into the back of someone or wrote the car off whilst driving

Just been told that they're going to order me a new car but must wait a week to get ETA.
Thanks for the offers of a loan car for the bank holiday btw - i think I'll hire something local all the same but some very generous offers. THX - it's nice to know there are some nice peeps around here!
