Very nice car, very nice location! You'll be alright with a Honda (although someone at work has an Accord and had gearbox problems...).

The Megane was a nice car and certainly not bad by any account, but the Honda does offer nicer comfort (much nicer seats; better side boulstering), more power, the acceleration is nice and progressive, and far more "effortless" and a nicer interior

I'd love HIDs too, but the fact that it's not strictly legal and I don't know if they did any standard fit HIDs in that generation of Accord means I'll probably just stick with those uber Philips 80% ones, lol

Got bored of the VTEC in my Civic 1.8 VTi very quickly, spend my time now trying to keep it below 4,500 rpm to try and save some pennies (extra fuel at 4.5k and cam profile change at 5k ?) and I'm a tight walleted old fart

No where near as much fun as my Renault 5 GT Turbo back in the early nineties
