ever since the Audi TT broke loose in the late 90's, i've been wondering what Renault made of it all - deja vu maybe?

Audi TT:

That Renault looks A little bit of a mess, about 3 different styles!

I prefer it to the TT, but then I don't like the TT, especially the rag top.

Back to the original question. No, I don't think they are related. As far as I'm aware Audi and Renault have never done a joint project.

they're quite different cars - the only similar feature is the line that runs down the car - however its much higher on the renault

i'm really talking about the design philosophy - the Argos (in no way related to the TT) was a design concept in 1994, and the TT seems to bear more than a passing resemblance...

I'n sure the Argos became the Spider







and its COOLEST feature......no windscreen

a deflector was available I believe...to prevent the dead flys on your helmet visor

So I think Renault own the cool stakes on this one
