Where is the cheapest place to hire a car for the weekend?

Please bear in mind I am 22 and some companies won't hire to under 23s.

When I was 21 the ONLY company that'd hire me a car was National Alamo.

Check out some of the local hire companies, garages to you rather than the national ones. I find that they are more likely to let you hire a car. I have been hiring cars and vans since I was 17, you just got to ring around, sometimes there is an extra insurance fee but is only usually a couple of quid. Enterprise will let you have a car, or at least they let me have one this time last year, I was 21, a 1.3 Micra, was £28 for the day IIRC.
