Nice- its averaged over 50mpg (so it's only burned about 11,000 gallons of diesel in its lifetime ), so they loan him a V10 Toureg that'll really struggle to do more than 25mpg. Should have lent him a Polo Bluemotion.

Bloody heck that's lot of miles! My sister got 150,000 in her Saab and I thought that was a lot...
I had the old W plate Octavia back the other week. It still lives as a pool car having racked up 272,000
What's amazing is the fact it still has all the same gremlins as it did at 72,000. It's just beeing rebuilt 3 times
Talked that one up didn't I. It just got pushed to the garage.
