my only concern is that the review didnt mention tyre wear.....i would quite like these new tyres to last a good while

Tyre wear is affected as much by driving style and regular maintenance checks as it is by compound.
By regular checks I mean keeping the things inflated at the correct pressure, much higher or lower than the sweet spot will decrease the handling and wear performance of any tyre.

They also have very deep tread, so they stay legal for ages.
Ace, well iv pretty much decided to get the vredestein's - my folks had a nasty experience with a continetal tyre, so I wont buy em - next choice for me other than the vredestein would be the goodyear hydragrip's.
lol, both are £54 a corner, so will simply be a case of which ever is in stock when I get round to ordering (will have to be so I can get em fitted at home - they'l never have room at my work!!)
Need to get some locking wheel nuts as well.
My Hydragrip's have been bloody good tyres, my car handles allmost as well as when it was on F1's and they wear far better.
I'm a big Goodyear fan now, I used to love Yokohamas (I wish I could remember what type I allways bought) which were brilliant in the dry but scared the pants off of me in the wet !.
