Pug.I have starting issue 306 1.9 Diesel.

Hi every one new on this form looking for help with my 306 1.9 Diesel non turbo. I have starting issues when left for a few hours it turns over and over before it will start, I have checked the glow plugs all ok, I have replace the filter housing with the hand primer as it was leaking and a pump guy said they caused most problems still the same She is 02 but old model with a Lucas pump, It seems like fuel is leaving the pump and she has to prime her self not sure if to replace the solenoid switch next or get the pump checked any ideas before I have replaced every thing.

Hi lads.
Here is an update see no one has answered my quest for help.
filled a two gallon can with diesel and gravity fed the Lucas cav pump and still after a night wont start. opened all four injectors while turning over and no diesel from them it is as if the pump cant make pressure after turning over bleeding she eventually will start and run rough until all air is removed from the system. will post next weak when i get the pump serviced. This was what my pump service guy recommended before he serviced the pump so I would not be wasting my money. And still have the same issue.
