    Bloody Mock Tests

Ive had about 6 now, in practice for the "big day".

    only passed... 1

i've failed for some great reasons, like, not realising the NSL turned into a 30mph zone (oops) and forgetting to indicate (apparently) on the LAST GOD DAMN turn.

Also, to slow, doing 30 in a 40 zone on a dual carridgeway, which is DEADLY, as if sum1 was to try and over take me, he gotta make up the 10+ mph in the rigth hand lane bloody quickly to avoid a road accident.

and, just to finish.. i appologise, to God and the UK citizens, we lost a squirrel the other day.

on the bright side, i only keep failing with 1 major, could be worse init

I had 3 mock tests...cos well, it took me 3 attempts to pass

...Failed all 3 with 1 major in each, however, they can't be a true reflection of my driving because in the real test i got:

    1st test - 5 Majors, 14 Minors

    2nd test - 3 Majors, 16 Minors

    3rd test - 10 Minors

    Amazingly bad eh?!

...So don't take them as very much Russ m8, except for a mock to the atmosphere inside the car!

I only had 6 minors on my test, and most of those were *really* nitpicking

I had two minors on my first (AND ONLY!) test. One for steering, when I reversed round the corner I put my right hand over the top of the wheel! The other was going too slow. I pulled into a junction, missing the speed limit sign , so proceeded at 30 until I saw the repeater sign, which said '40'. How much am I the daddy?? Especially since I was 17 yrs, 3 months and 1 day old! And I'd been on two 2 week holidays in between my 17th and passing my test!

I didn't have a mock test, and I passed first time (3 minors).. You'd be better off just practising your maneuvres, or however you spell it, in my opinion... You know - so you can get the right, instead of getting them wrong in a mock exam environment. i don't think I'm making any sense today, my English has deteriorated vastly since the war.

I switched over to 100% mock tests after a little while in the lessons, it helped no end

I past first time too: 3 minors

So does that make all northerners good drivers since me and Big richard past first time with very few minors

I never passed a single mock test, but I still occasionally have people commenting that Im a good driver. Not trying to boast, just to show that tests and mock tests can often mean very little... and that failing mock tests doesn't mean you'll fail your proper ones!

My instructer used to be very harsh during my mock tests, some of the things he got me for I'd should have got away with in the actual test. At least that way I won't get a major shock in the real thing hopefully. Maybe yours is the same too
