racing for a slightly crashed car

i.e banger racing... but not the head on destruction derby type stuff (which is all i find with internet searches)

Is there anything like the top gear farm race (hammond in old bimmer, clarkson in a mitsibushy with huge turbo and may in a jag) I could try?

Im aware that noones going to let me take a bent-chasis car onto a proper track.. and then if there are farm type races its probobly cheaper..?

However its only the rear that is bent, and only just so that the boot doesnt lock shut - that can be fixed... it still corners perfectly well (for a fwd barge with tyres screaming...) but wont pass another mot.

Depends where you're located - I know of one in Cornwall, and one in the Lake District.

Ill be in west sussex but if its not expensive I wont mind travelling... though Ill need to find some kind of trailer to put it on...

ack. That saab is heavy.. not sure I would want to try towing it AGAIN with a 90hp french diesel! (last time almost resulted in a burnt clutch only going up a small but steep hill!)
