I like sleepers, you know, those cars that hint in only the tiniest way at their true potential.
In that vein I thought it only right that one of finest of this breed I've seen for sometime should be admired as it's come up for sale and I think it's a peach.

Seen anything recently that could innocently pull up next to a supercar at the lights and teach it a leason or two?

I had a funny experience with an amazing Audi 80 (i think..the one before the A4 anyway..) looked like a bog standard FWD, tatty overall and a sort of disgusting brown colour.

Wondered what was making so much noise at idle for second and then the lights go green..

All four wheels leave me in a cloud of smoke and he's about half a mile down the road before I can think to pull away

I like that honda though, if it wasn't for the FMIC it would be ultra stealth.

Yeah, but torque causes torque steer- and 288 lbft is a hell of a lot more than some well-known-to-be-wayward cars like the Astra VXR- let alone a Mk2 GTE.

Yes, £11k for 520 (supposedly) reliable bhp in a more or less mint sleeper is a raging bargain, and on an autobahn that car would stick it to pretty much anything not wearing a Gemballa, RUF or 9ff badge- but I'll eat my hat if it can put all 520bph through the tyres at less than 100mph.

Wouldn't be an issue. As Zak says it's not running super torque (I know it's a lot but it's not *that* bad) and it'll be all about revs. Standing starts would be a tad interesting at first but if that thing was on a 2nd gear rolling start it would rip most things on the road apart.

Shame about the FMIC being so exposed, but at least it's silver...
