Didn't really think a lot of this game since I'm not really into racing games all that much, but I watched the video on XBL and read about it on the official site and I'm really excited about it now. It looks like a fantastic game, like Gran Turismo but even better.

The paint system looks really good, reminds me of the way you could paint your bikes in MotoGP 2. I remember how the number of layers you could have was really restrictive of what you could do, and was annoyed to read that you had a limited number of layers in Forza 2. Until I read you had a total of 5000ish layers on a car There should be some pretty sweet looking cars up for auction, I expect to see the Sistine chapel roof on someones bonnet at some point

Was thinking I might get this and the wireless steering wheel, until I saw the wheels price tag. How the hell to they get away with pricing stuff that high? It's ridiculous!

Can't wait for the 25th of May, although there are exams before then I have to pull though 8/

It was one of the games that convinced me to give up PC games and get the Xbox, that along with Gears of War, Unreal and Ghost Recon 2.

All that for a £300 upgrade.

I can't wait for this game! I love racing games (more than any other genre) and I have such high hopes for Forza 2 that I actually believe it will be the best racing game to date.

I'll be getting the wireless wheel for this, and probably make some sort of cockpit!

Here are the key highlights:

First of all, there's the matter of a release date. Microsoft officially announced today that Forza Motorsport 2 is slated for retail here in North America on 5/29.

Speaking of demo, we're shooting to get that online as soon as it's done going through the rigors of certification. The trial version should be out of our hands early next week, so... <fingers crossed>

If you pre-order from GAME you get a free car it seems, they send you a code to plug into the redeem code thingy on the marketplace. It's a custom 2003 Fairlady Z, I don't think it's an exclusive car, you can get it if you play the game normally, but it's a free pimped out car from the start

Probably won't use it though as I like starting from scratch.
