They're the same length.
The differences in body-in-white involve the door frames and windows only. No sure if there's extra roof-strengthening in the 3dr, they couldn't remember off-hand.

Do you know if the 3dr body shell is any stiffer than that of the 5dr?

Type-R yes methinks so because there's extra strengthening in the floorpan.
Not certain on the other 3drs.
