Nope. Read his post above yours - he said he doesn't want something brash.

The RX8 really is a very very sexy car.. but they might be a bit complicated over the long run. I don't think the focus ST is a bad idea - might not be the most go-kart thing out there, but the comfort and (importantly for wales) assurance in the wet are a plus in my opinion. The Octavia vRS is another good one for comfort and wet handling, while the Leon is probably going to get you the best engine for the money and is very practical, though perhaps not as comfy as the Octavia or Focus.

Hey, that's not fair, the definition of brash varies from people to people. And to be fair the Sti, Evo, and Rx-8 would fall reletively in the same price range. Okay the Rx-8 would be a bit cheaper, but not by much.

Why would the Evo and Sti be considered brash?! I demand to hear an explanation!

It's a bit of a random selection of cars - Focus ST170, new Mondeo and RX-8. They all go well but aren't really directly comparable methinks...

I agree and that's why I through in the rally cars, cause if the RX-8 in the suggestion box, I think the EVO and STI deserve to be there too!

Re: Focus ST170 a good buy?

My sister and brother-in-law looked at the RX8 a couple of years ago but were put off by the £1000 per year servicing cost to clean the blades of the engine.

Re: Focus ST170 a good buy?

    RX8 isn't really a everyday car.

High running costs, high fuel costs, i've heard you have to wait for the car to heat up before setting off and you have to wait for it to cool down at the end of a drive etc. Doesn't sound very practical, not so sure on the looks either.

If anything goes wrong expect big wanga to get it repaired aswell.

Facelift Corolla TSport would do the job with alot less fuss.
