...anyone recommend any? Heading that way (Brecon, Black Mts) this Sunday with a mate and his ST, hoping to hit the A470 and A4069 but need to plan a proper rte...

Don't have time to head north to the EVO triangle sadly, but any roads you'd not miss out in the south???

I would not both.
SW police have invested there GATSO money wisely and purchased a few new unmarked cars.
If you take any car out in these areas they will stop you for a chat.
I have given up going out on the wkends and now try to enjoy myself at night or in the week.
If you do go out, slow down if you see a white skoda octavia or a dark blue BMW.
There are no lights, aerial or distinctive marks until its to late.
