    What tyres do you have?

Just wondering that my fellow hexites use on there four corners.

i have conti's on, standard from dealer, in the dry, its ok, doesnt wheel spin to bad when i can it off the lights, and they love the wet, what you lot got?

im disadvantaged though, as ive only ever tried these tyres on my car, so i dont know how others would perform.

The new Dunlop D01's have outstanding grip on dry roads, bit to bald for the wet i think though i'll buy some for track days

yokohama A539'S,205/40/17 front and 215/40/17 rear, the different sizes are to counter some pretty wild lift-off oversteer, imho yoko's can't be beaten in the dry but are not great in the wet..but then it's not a good idea giving it big beans in the wet anyway, conti's are considered to be very good all-rounders

195/45/15 Nankang NS1. Cheap and cheerful budget performance tyres. Made by the same people as Yokohama but without the huge price. Rally drivers chuck em on the rear with Yokohamas up front to have a bit of fun

They're not great, but for the price I got them at I couldn't complain at all. Nearly due for a change on the front end actually..

ContiSport's on the rear with almost no tread left and some Rainex (i think) bag-o-bollocks crap on the front. The front's are ok-ish in the dry but really really bad in the wet. 205/55/16 all round.

The new wheels (whenever that is..) will have either GSD3's or A509's

Goodyear Eagle F1's all-round here as well, 195/55/R15's in my case. Bit softer sidewalls than my last lot of tyres so my motor 'sits down' a bit more at the rear than I was expecting on full-noise roundabout exits.
    Stick well though

Some cheap 145/70/r13s from kwik-fit. Was on offer at £15 per tyre from £22 if i recall correctly. Tbh they were one of the better ones available too. No self respecting tyre company makes my size At least they are quite new and match.

What tyres? Haven't got a clue, all I know is the last two cost about sixty quid each for my old Merc. When it's light, I'll go take a peek and let you know. All I'm sure of is they're not remoulds.
