nice one, i didn't think he would do it.
Just heard this on the radio.
More than a little surprised myself!
Very interesting.
F1 is pretty boring now, but it was even more boring when he won all the time.
However it'll be interesting to see him race, having not touched the 2009 car, and in what is a different landscape to when he last raced.
awsome
As the BBC article says we now have a reason to actually watch Valencia
Will be interesting to see if the old master still has it - Schumacher on poll in Valencia ? Would'nt surprise me !
AWESOME!
Half of me wants him to jump in the car after three years away and kick ass....and the other half wants to see him get pwnt by the new generation. Either way I can't lose.
I believe he can test last years car to sharpen himself and reacquaint himself with the engineers properly. Obviously they all know each other, but they won't have actually dialled a car in together since 2006.
If Ferrari have any straight-line tests still unused then they can use that to let him get used to some of the controls and gizmos (such as KERS) on the 2009 car.
I agree of course though. He's not going to be as good as he was when he left - he's doing this as a favour.
All i can say is epic win, and i mean c'mon, of course he knows what this car feels like hes probably got one for his own probable personal racetrack probably
