    Volvo C70 Opinions

Contemplaiting changing my car, one of the options is one of these:

    In T5 form, GT spec.

Anybody ever driven one? they have 240BHP at the front wheels, which is alot. I am assuming this could potentially wear the front tyres pretty quickly. Oviously you get the volvo comfort which is a major plus.

There is also one of these:

I already have an accord and I can guess how good a Type-R is. The only thing I have against it is the loss of some toys.

Is the C5 T5 really FWD? Thats suprising.

240 thu the fronts is pushing it - if you try and get anywhere fast youll be spinning those wheels like a man posessed. The civic type r only has 200bhp and you can light the fronts up all day in the dry in that.

Depends if you want to be a old man (volvo) or a young man (Type r).

I'd go for neither and probably settle for a tidy performing audi a4 avant quattro

Even the accord is 220bhp through the fronts. Audi's are a stupid insurance group I think when I looked. These two are 16 the audi was either 18 or 20

i'd go for the volvo cos it looks more classy and less common. would give some people a surprise with 240 bhp too

are ya sure its not awd? most t5s are..

the t5 engine (turbod 5 cylender volvo block) is a strong reliable engine, nice and torquey..

Everything I have read so far have said FWD.

Either car can be had for around £7000-£9000 depending on mileage.

They do a 2.4T as well I think that still comes in at 197BHP.
