Nothing wrong with it and it is very sound logic, I would have added my parents, sisters and girlfriend to my policy as secondary drivers if it wasn't for the fact I don't want my sisters driving my car and my parents/gf have claims/points and actually pushed it up
So how does that work for me on a 4 year course and living at home and commuting 50 miles round trip to university each day? (Cheaper than living in Newcastle though lol)
Insurance wise, I found the first year a broker was best, then swiftcover had an amazing offer on the following year, need to start looking for the next quote in a couple of months but it went from £780 tpft to £500 fc in a year.
DG, look at a diesel car, they are usually lower to insure (and tax, and better economy) and aren't seen as boy racer cars as much as a corsa is
