Yeah it's based on the 430 Scuderia, but with some of Ferrari's voodoo electronics removed.. it was built as a one off (much like the new Audi Quattro concept) by Pininfarina but there's now talk of a limited production run, maybe 25/50 cars (again, much like Audi's Quattro concept) .. very exlcusive stuff but after all the misguided concepts and revivals of the Stratos that have led to nothing it's nice to see the old girl reborn, even it is only for a chosen few

I absolutely love the new Audi Quattro concept
It's just a shame it'll likely never be affordable even if they do start making it as it'll be in limited numbers and probably cost over £50,000 to buy

Considering the S5 Chassis and TT RS powerplant you'd think they'd be able to price the Quattro competitively with at least the 911 but the latest estimates put it around the R8 GT in terms of cost unfortunately

I have no doubt I will never own either, I just want to see them on a special stage

Seeing as it's a one-off they should hae given it pop-up headlamps IMO.

TBH the new one is cool but it just makes me want to build a replica even more TBH, stick a supercharged Alfa V6 in there and it'd go like a good 'un .

I suspect so too. Even if they were to cost £50k it's largely irrelevant as that's still more than almost anyone will ever spend on a car. A £35k car you can dream about with a possibility of getting one if things go right. £50k's too much.

50 cars is just wrong. Official figures for the original are 491, so for a true tribute they have another 490 to go. Besides, don't they need to make 200 for homologation requirements?
