Few months ago I took my bike to a garage and told them it wouldnt start up without having to switch the ignition on and off while pressing the electric start. They replaced the spark plug and the cap..
Just been to turn my bike over and the same problem is occuring, anyone got any suggestions as to what it could be?
Dodgy ignition switch. Sounds like it's not making contact properly until you give it just in the right place. As soons as it is, it will fire as the engine is being cranked at the same time.

Or possibly Atari.
Easy enough to replace myself? Or will this mean taking it to the mech and paying ridic labour charges.
*Edit* Or infact, is there any way to remedy this?
