Cool Slightly miffed but still serious 0wnage

Howdy, thought i'd share a little 'kill' with ya.

Driving back from Mansfield in me little KA, sticking to the speed limit of 50MPH...Anyhoo, a cruise [from what i can see anyway] pulls up behind me with what apeared to be a modified white NOVA GTe. Anyway, at this point i neway, especially as its getting right up me a$$

We approach a national speed limit roundabout, that is just effectively a 60MPH corner. Anyway, i thought, 'nope, not giving this up without a fight' so i dropped into third and hung to the corner nicely, doin about 45...I could see the NOVA lining me up for a kill as he took what appeared to be an aggressive line...

...Anyway, driving up this national road hill i was slogging it in 3rd, and altho i could see the NOVA giving it some, he just plain simply didn't have the legs

...So, i laugh to myself, especially as he starts indicating and flashing his lights (followed by leaving his fogs on ) And to top things off (by now i am enjoying this immensely) the road then drops to a 40 at the bottom of the hill. So, me be a law abiding citizen i break to 40 and he whizzes round the outside!

Fair enuff i thought, thats that over with. Oh no! at the lights he decides to start giving me the 'Vs' as i am waiting a car or so behind him.

^^ This last points highlights to me how much he knew he got roasted ^^

All in all, a good day

[Just as long as i don't pick up ne stupid speeding fines for driving on un-known roads in Mansfield following traffic @ 32/33MPH]

Only point i am worried about tho...is...aren't NOVA GTe's s'posed to be faster than a 1.4 KA??

    Nice one dude!

A nova is the fastest car in the world to nova drivers it seems! The funny thing about nova driver types, whether you thrashed them or not, they will still give you some v's, for no reason!

That really miffs me off too - how some Chav will come up behind you in a 30 when you're doing closer 40... sit right up your arse, try ridiculous overtaking manoeveures and fail, flash his lights etc, then come change to NSL/dual-carriageway 70 you'll leave him for absolute dead, especially if it's twisty. A59 through Blubberhouses is a good one for this, esp cos that's what the Chav will be doing, blubbering

I am hearing rumours it coudn't have been a GTE cos that would have left me dead. Maybe it was a 1.0/1.2 NOVA in disguise I know he was trying to over-take and the my car left it for dead...totally.

nah the GTE wasnt 2Ltr, you have to watch nova's tho, look at the driver, if he looks like a chav and is sub 20 then its prolly standard or badged up as something else, if he looks older then you could be in for a shock as theres loads of nova's out there with engine conversions ranging from 1.8 8v's to 2.0 16v turbo's and everything inbetween, carbs, throttle bodies the lot.....

Wish I was in ya car at the time!! Was pi$$in myself when you phoned me and told me! Middle of town, at a bank machine, a little more than err, drunk.

I doubt it'd be a GTe, but any Nova is a good kill ;-)

I am pretty sure this wasn't a real GTE or nethin. Personally, I think it was badged up crap NOVA and i just happened to show him up well and truly. Still, a day on it is still just as awesome...i feel like i have given something back to the world
