I think that they look really great, and am in no doubt personally that they will sell like hot cakes. That is despite all that Posh Spice fiasco a while ago.
More so now that they have revelead the list prices, starting from £28k
Of course I recognise that this (relative) low price is to entice buyers, who then add on £15k of extras in the comfort of buying a 'cheap' car, but you know.... I am so tempted once my 3 years finance on my Yeti is up...

I know what it means but unless you go for the 4WD version, I dont think it really qualifies. A hippy expensive car yes...but a chelsea tractor I think not....

I'm also aware of the reference, but am not quite sure why there is seeming animosity towards a design / shape... Certainly once upon a time it symbolised unnecessary high fuel consumption, but that's not been true for years. As for the old 'does anyone really need' so and so argument, the same is surely more true for coupes & roadsters, plus in fact many vehicles that are larger than a twingo.

Chelsea tractors will happen, that's a fact of life. But at least this goes some way to mitigating their problems - it's smaller, lighter, more economical and less ugly. Thumbs up from me.

For what it's worth I don't see the point in paying a lot of money for a car considering how high petrol prices will be in the coming years.
