On my trip to motorshow and back - 332.8 miles - I averaged 49mpg in my 106 1.1. After it was doing 20 in some appauling city conditions this is quite a relief.

Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors.
Over past 2000 miles my 1.2 Micra has averaged a pretty impressive 51.2mpg. Most of my dirving is dual carridgeway and a/b roads rather than being city driving, but i'm still impressed as my old 1.0 Micra only did about 40 mpg
At a guess I'd say I can get about 35 or so?
Most likely less as I'm a terrible learner driver. Lol.

I took my the 1.2 Micra Auto my mum has as a courtesy car from the insurance company for a trip from SE London to Marden in Kent and back last night, and managed 49.9 MPG (according to the trip computer) by driving slowly. I probably could have easily got over 50 had it been a manual (and had I not done a couple of full bore acceleration runs)
The auto gearbox is a poor match for such a revvy low torque little engine TBH.
Rich :¬)
I had an auto box on the courtesy car when my micra was in for some re stitching on the fabric as it had ripped (excellent customer servce) and going from manual to auto, the new auto boxes on micras are awful, i loved the old CVT ones though!
im lucky to get 10-15 mpg out of mine
10-15, wtf do you drive?!
this...
Got the right front splitter on there now, need to take some new pics.
:O
it was you!! who stole my rx-7, return it now and nothing more will be said
Ooh, very nice. I've fancied an RX-7 for ages, don't think i could cope with the running costs though. rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishels are very thirsty due to a terrible combustion chamber, they also run a total loss lubrication system so they drink oil pretty quickly.
But they look gorgeous!!!
I'm currently getting about 34MPG on my CRX 1.6i16, I know it's running a bit lean atm as well so that should go up when I get round to adjusting it (no lambda sensor )
Chris
I own a PC that changes regularly, so I don't bother putting anything in here...
Just got 35.6mpg driving to Cambridge somewhat speedily, including a blast around the Fens at engine speeds way above economical
Looks like the silicone sealer in the mixture screw worked
