Cool Woot - just got a free car

Someones just offered me a Pug 205 FOC - well actually all they want is some MaryLand cookies
All I know is that its a 205 Auto, Taxed 2 months, MOT's for 9 (I think) is in good condition (but engine needs a service) and is drinking P/S fluid (me hopes its just a leak and not the rack)
But its FREE at least I dont have to do the resto on the wifes Beetle now - get that up and running and on E-Bay it goes!!
Give me something to do before the 'other car' comes back and takes up the garage space

    Talking pug

First of all, how long are you expecting to keep the Pug, if it is for any longer than a year, get a new interior, seats and fit a new dash and a body kit as well as doing up your engine, and get new rims also some nice pipes. If not, repair your engine troubles, get some alloys, and flog it!!!
You're sooooo lucky a free car is gr8. im getting a car from my mum if i do well in my GCSE's. that GR8 too.
    that's the chicken!!!

Some local councils will tow away scrap cars for free, you could check with them. Otherwise it costs a little bit to pay the council or a scrapyard to take it away.

Oops - havent got a free car anymore
Phoned my mate to organzie collection - only to find out that the cars been towed and as his mate (as it was his car) has now moved away, and hes not willing to pay to get it out of the impound (£175 or so).
Cest La Vie - then found out that the wifes 1303 Beetle has decieded it doesnt want to start either - so thats getting E-Bay'd tonight as a 'spares or repair'
Life has many ups and downs!!!!

Is it not worth you paying the £175 to get it out??

Im guessing by now that its been crushed as its been 7 days since the car was towed....
Will pop over the Milton Keynes auctions either tomorrow or Friday and see whats around - will be cheaper than E-Bay but not free.....
