    Favourite image of a car...

Ok...so, whats your favourite image of a car. It doesn't have to be your favourite car, but one that particularly strikes you as a nice image.

Yes, i did see this similar thread on OcUK, but i thought Hexus peeps could do better

    For me....

...This is it, a lovely Lotus. While not being my favourite car, i think the surroundings look really good with the car and it makes me wanna own one so badly!!

Yeah that pic is amazing m8. Although by the looks of it you wouldnt have much paint work left by the time you got to the bottom of that mountain .

Now this is just my crappy Pocket Digital camera snap of a wall calendar (sorry for the crookedness, the camera only has a window with a single lense to look through). But this photo is awesome. Its from a McKlein rally calendar, which i started getting last year, and which i think i'll continue buying ever since. This is a pic of Erikssons Subaru in rally Indonesia 1997. The actual photo is quite subdued, but i lit it with a lamp to get a better photo and it came alive. The greens light up and it suddenly feels like a much more airy place. Now i agree that the car plays a smaller role in this pic, but it is a classic subaru and it makes you think how awesome it would be to go through places like that in a rally car. I'll see if i can scan this properly later. Oh, and if anyone can find a pic of it on the net - there will be a big virtual cookie for you my friend.

somewhere out there is a picture of a Nova GTE from Vauxhalls Performance Brochure from 1990.

It is sat in a forest on gravel, but its not a rally car...its a road car....Metallic Black and it is just the finest piccy anywhere in the world...

but I dont know where it is

Right, I couldn't stand such a subdued reaction to the pic i posted, so i took my good cam and had another go at it:
