    The old approved ford method was to use fishing line like dental floss behind the badge to cut it off. Then you need a to find a checmical to soak off the adhesive without marking the paint finish.

    When I did mine (2.9V6 with a 1.8TD badge on the back ) I did have to t-cut the whole bootlid to get it to blend again.

    Well, when I said used to it, more not such an unexpected fright anymore. Can still be impossible to plan for the sudden delivery of power - one can't always watch the tach and sometimes it just lurches.

    Oooh that sucks. I never had much joy with T-CUT in the past. Might just not bother, at least yet, minimal point in no badge with the twin pipes at the back
