I heard about that after it happened - apparently there was a banner with the Monster logo on it that looked like a bloke on a bike coming towards him (failing light and all that). He thought he was going to get crashed into, and because there was someone on his right he had nowhere else to go. It's amazing that noone was hurt or killed though...
