Latest news (and I love E-Bay)

have been wheeling and dealing just latley
Most recent purchase being a Edlebrock Victor manifold for a Dominator carb, imagine if you can your 'normal' V8 manifold - then stick some HUGE runners leading upto a HUGE carb base and well thats the manifold - its most definatley a full on - not really suitable for road use lump of metal.
The carb I need for it flows....... 1050 CFM - which isnt to be sniffed at - but also appears to have a liking for mixing petrol in the same ratio, but needs must and all that

Anyway - just got back from the NSRA meet at Billing - where I had arranged to pick up a wheel I had won on E-Bay a few weeks back.
Its a Weld Magnum for those that are interested

Phoned around for quotes for another one last week (as I only got 1, well thats all he had for sale!!) and the lad on the other end of the phone asked what car I had, and I was I running Pro Mod (i.e. 6 sec cars) - the price for ONE wheel £375..........
So - how much do you think I paid for this one??

Totally brand new, never even had a tyre fitted and still in its original box
Im having a really hard time trying to decide between a set of cheaper wheels (Weld ProStar's) or bitting the bullet and getting another of these - why is life never simple......

He He - if only life were that simple
I have WAY much more to worry about - but this is a 'nice' worry (in as much as I need to make my mind up before my other wheels ship) - and not some of the stuff that Ive had to deal with over the last few years
Worrying about a wheel pales into insignificance then
