    Find me this cheaper...

    hi all,

    I'm thinking about buying this:

Someone give me some reasons why not too, or what else is around? I'm open to suggestions.

Where can I get it cheaper??

    Cheers,
    Nick

That is a awesome gps setup but u will be peaved to know that PC World were selling that exact same kit for £299 over the bank holiday , Its back up to £399 in PC World but if you are like me, you may want to walk into a shop and pick it up.

Lovely PDA and the TomTom 3 Nav setup has had some awesome reviews.

Thing is, I'm wanting a wireless setup in the house, and I'm driving 300miles (one way) to Newquay, and 300miles back. so navigation will be useful, as well as the speed camera database addons (which are free IIRC?)

There are several add ins for tomtom that give you audible warning of speed cameras, an icon is also added to both the navigation and general maps. The addon I use is checkpoint 3.2, have found it to be very reliable. Both checkpoint and the speed camera locations database can be downloaded from
    http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/
They also have reviews of all major gps/software/mounts etc and have a very good set of forums. Im not sure what the current oppinions are of the tomtom bluetooth receiver, might be worth checking the forums, but the H2210 is the current favoured PDA for sat nav due to its inclusion of CF/SD and bluetooth at a very good price.

My setup is a toshiba E750 bluetooth PDA, fortuna clip-on bluetooth gps, arkon powered amplified mount, tomtom2, 512mb sd card and a 256mb cf card. Am looking at getting a wifi card next. The pda connects to my pc/network using bluetooth, got a £15 usb dongle of ebay.
