OMG Amazing racing this sunday!!!

I did not expect it to be that good. I just set my vcr to tape it while i was doing an errand and then came back to watch it. Didn't pay much attention to the first part of the race but then i started watching it more closely - and god is it a spectacle!

I am of course talking about Formula Woman. While the GP was mainly dull today FW did not disappoint. RWD cars sliding all over the place, held on the track by drivers skill and oversteering all over the place! A couple of collisions, close racing and a championship with a couple points difference between 1st and 2nd.

To start with i thought rx-8s looked a bit silly on the track - but they proved to be great! And the women got their act together and put in some great racing including a lot of overtaking!

Having inattentivly followed most of the championship i managed to start caring about most of the drivers (it only being 16 of them helped) and really enjoyed this race.

Did anyone else notice any of that? I hope they do it again next year.

Watch it? Good god I was glued to the screen. One make racing always good, but this was amazing - F1 take note - Over taking, balanced cars and action.
Can't believe I've missed the entire series!

I watched it too and it was great stuff lots of overtaking and all down to driver skill and not superior cars. I am miffed that I missed it every other week though.

It was.
She did. Was close though. She had to come 3rd in last races and she did. Her rival won both last races. Was about 5 points in it out of 200+

There will be a repeat tonight at 12.30-1.10 on itv.

It being itv they are gonna overrun the 1.10 bit so if you are taping - make sure you allow extra 15 minutes on the end. I emailed them about it before, coz there is a feature to tell vcrs to shift time if needed, but no, they insist on being muppets.

Don't be shy in giving me points, you know you have to spread them around before you can give em to zak, daveham and rave

Oh, and Zak, i assume this moves my date with astra to 2006
