How much is insurance on that? and how much would it be on a similar car with no mods? Just out of interest. Thinking of getting a prelude later on and a lot of them have been modded, which i don't really want coz of insurance. Can you also post your details - age/NCB/experience.

Thanks, i'm 27 i've only ever had 6 points in total but licence is clean now, i've been driving 9 or so years and i've got max ncb... 7 years without a claim, insurance is £630 but i expect a standard would be about £350-£450

Ta muchly. So a lightly modded prelude might be around 100-200 more to insure. Great.
Do you have fully comp or tpft?

Np, i'm with brentacre and have a specialist policy that is based on a power limit,you can also up the limit if needed and this allows you to really do anything to the car as long as you tell them. Oh and thats comp btw.

HAH! Thats in swansea. Local Used to live on sorta same street as them (i.e. same road but different name).

Cheers, it's a vr6 which is like a gti but with a 2.8L v6 instead of a 2.0L, mine is 3.1L though
