Any comments or suggestions, good or bad are welcome,i've still got a few things to sort out on it such as changing the rear lights for the originals and fitting DTH throttle bodies when funds allow.

very nice - I'm not a big fan of aftermarket clusters myself, and haven't seen a set I've liked yet, but thats just my own personal taste. Good choice of alloys for that colour car too
cheers, i've just got the wheels back on there today after having them powder coated as they were white before, i do actually like these clear clusters but they don't really fit in with the black and silver 'theme'
Looks like a motorsport "slag" of some description so it's all good.
I'd defo lose the rears lights though. Maybe some smoked rears instead so they're dark?
Top marks, cos we all know it goes like stink
LOL Goes well with the obligatory abandoned trolley.
That's lovely
Are there disc brakes at the rear?
Damn nice though. Top marks

Lowe - the original clusters are black/tinted so i'll whack them on tomorrow if it stops raining for more than five minutes
Rob - there seems to be a new one there every morning lol
Howard - yep there are discs on the back, they are not particularly big but they are good enough, especially with the wilwood 4-pots on the front
cheers
get those twin headlamp surrounds painted black to match the grill....if the grill is black the headlamps need to be black too.
Nice wheels...very very nice. Subtle car as it goes..not too wild

No Sensei, i'm not kicking the mats to waste time, they have parted and I don't want to injure myself!
Zak the surrounds were smoked black clear plastic originally but i didn't really like it, a bit too 'mad max style' for me,it looked mean but sort of un-finished
it sure is but it's staying right where it is, you really need to hear it before you say take it off btw i've also got my vw-motorsport exaust manifold on there now as of a few months back.
and for those that havn't seen it here's the best part of the car
lol
Still love it mate, any chance of a vid of it getting the beans?.
I could probably rustle something up if somebody could host it
Very nice! Mods are subtle, but you can tell its moves! Thumbs up to you!
My cousin had a vr6, totally standard. Such a quick car! The engine, and exhaust note were beautiful! Well it was until it got stolen and never seen again!
Ant
Doll, you're getting a slap tomorrow.
Zak - I agree, I think black lights would be awesome. As for being Max Max stylee, that's kinda what I love about it. It just looks... well bloody "hard"
Love the alloys and the exhaust.
Tbh though, i'm not a fan of the front lights (morrittes??) but each to their own. Bet it goes like a certain item off a shovel?
Morette is the correct spelling but these are made by hella and an OEM part.
Engine work to date is quite extensive so you could say that - schrick vsr variable inlet manifold, schrick 288o inlet & 282o exhaust cams(split duration), flowed ported BIG valve head, eibach valve springs, corrado ABV block, mahle pistons ...3.1L, ARP bolts throughout, vsr and exhaust manifold flowed and match ported to head, bored out throttle body with quattro butterfly, sachs fast road/race clutch, lightened balanced flywheel, high flow fuel pump, 160c thermostat, chipped set up on rolling road and a milford chipstar to control multiple switching points on the vsr which all equates to about 215bhp at the front wheels with almost equal amounts of torque.
