There's some nice bits there but you would of done better to of read up on the discs and pads a bit more.

I didnt do any reading up

Reason being...... it was all free and can i complain? Of course not!

The discs and pads are alright.... do the job... stop the car better than the normal braking setup.... but I agree Lowe... i wouldnt have bought these myself. But £0 i aint moaning.

Induction kit was free too... and the grills.... The handles were about £20.......

All in all... a cheap day and the wallet is happy! and im happy! even if you lot aren't

Oh and dont worry.... If I believed everything K-tec and Prima told me.... I'd be driving around in a clowns car with water cannons and balloon animals!

hehe fairy nuff if your happy the thats the important thing innit.

Just bear in mind that the only way to considerably improve your braking is to fit bigger disks. Everything else (pads, grooves, drills, more powerful calipers) is just wearing down the pad/disk faster for not that much of an increase in power.

Won't give you an increase in power as such, but it will make stopping a second, third or forth time significantly better. The real reasons grooves are there isn't so much to remove the glaze off the pad, although this does happen (so long as the grooves are clear obviously!) but it's there to channel the gasses the are created meaning the disc stays cooler.

Don't forget though even with bigger discs the final limiting factor is your tyres.. pants tyres will mean you lock up far quicker and of course once you're locked up you aint stopping in a hurry
