    Apparently a Mazda 626 is a compact. Well, I never feel unsafe in my MR2 ultra-micro

    Actually going on his numbers a SUV would be a great purchase, your much safer in a chevy suburban than a honda civic.

    Well, yes, you as the driver are a lot more likely to survive the accident, but you're also a lot more likely to kill whoever you hit. Given that the Suburban is essentially a block of flats on wheels, that's not that surprising.

    The Civic is a top ricer-mobile in the US, don't forget. That probably ups the death rate a bit.
