My Astra is getting fettled for an outing in December.....and its gonna have the last 2 stages in the dark, so the lamps are getting sorted

While it was down at Dave Keen's garage, being fettled, a certain Jonathon Wigmore had popped in to see him....and as a Super 1600 driver, with a Puma, he's a fair judge of a rally car

So what did he think?

He liked it. Not sufficient power, as you'd imagine, but well impressed Stable, smooth, balanced....

although to be fair, he'd probably be able to drive most stuff well.

Anyone know what kinda of power the Super 1600 Puma churns out?

Over 250 bhp , revving to 9500 rpm.

Makes my 112 seem a tad lowly

Astra is all fettled now....new fuel pump (cheers Trig) and she;s ready.....trouble jhas been that me and Sair are buying a new house, so money's been short.

But I;ve saved a bit for one more event....in fact...there's two events in December....sorely tempted

I've got half an XE in the back garden chap n a m8 of mines just had his GTE TBoned by some old bint so thats being stripped
