Tarinder managed to review the KV8 Pro back in May, with a gap appearing for it to be published today. What did he think of ABIT's budget K8T800 Pro entrant?

This will undoubtedly be ABIT's cheaper S754 VIA K8T800 Pro motherboard. Expect a MAX3 model soon, and we're sure it'll be laden with various cooling gadgets and a few extra features. For most users, though, the regular Pro will more than suffice.

There should be a comment in there that the locks do work on the Rev1.1 boards, its physical rather than a bios issue really. Abit even accept your board back as an RMA for free, and upgrade it to a rev1.1, thats what they are doing on mine at the mo.
