I'm liking the blue on the fiestas and the red on the Suzuki Swift. Looking at getting one of those for my first car
I like metallic royal and darker blues, this may be why I have a dark blue car.
Depends entirely on the manufacturer, and to some extent on the car.
The particular paint mix that a manufacturer uses for a colour has a lot to do with it. I always thought that VW red was waaay nicer than most other reds. Hence I had a red Golf GTI for a while.
The Golf GTI looks great in red, but the R32 always "looked" better in blue. I think that has a lot to do with what colours we are used to seeing a particular car or even a particular model photographed in.
I can't stand black in any car, I'm not keen on any really dark colours, bored with red too as I have had too many red cars.
Right now I think gunmetal grey would be my first choice for most cars, followed by sliver.
I also think yellow would be the colour for most Ferrari models, but not all, for example I think the F40 looks best in red.
Ever seen a white F40? They look incredible!

Definitely depends on the car. Vaux have a lovely emerald green colour, but it doesn't suit all of their cars. I spec'd a wicked racing green and black mini the other day - which significantly increased my interest in the car. Skoda have a nice candy blue type colour. SEATs in monsoon grey look much smarter than normal etc.
Looking at second hand cars though I'm quite disappointed with what people come up with :/ Including tons and tons of white cars at the moment. Horrendous.
Wondered if my little rant about silver BMWs was ott, so played a little game on the way home yesterday.
Starting from zero I kept count, add one for each silver BMW I saw, subtract one for each non silver BMW.
Final tally was -1, so the non silver cars tipped the balance, just
not quite... Silver says "I dont have time to wash AND polish it.. so car wash and away.. silver all day long"
also great used car forecourt colour as the minor scuffs and scrathes just dont show as they do on darker colours
Easy to leather too. No smears visible unless you're a doofus

Without a doubt Pearlescent Tahiti Blue, it's the way it changes to a beautiful metallic turquoise at certain angles in the sun (and a dark metallic blue otherwise).
Do it again with white. Tbh I can see why people get them on company car schemes. I've just ordered a new car class on mine because they're lush but for the price of a mondeo titanium X you can get a 320d business edition which is unquestionably a much better car. I suspect it's mainly because the residuals are so great.
