I got quoted £1100 on a Focus Zetec 1.6i, that seems a lot to me being a 25 year old. I suppose it was down to the fact I am a new driver with 0 no claims bonus.
I'm 21 with 0 years NCB. Got a 2.9 V6 on fully comp @ £600. These deals do exist.
People say insuring my dad as a named driver on my own policy wont help, is this true?
Good grief that's crap, I've only just been driving a year and my quote for a well tooled up mini cooper is only £700Originally Posted by Allen

could be worse, you could live in Northern Ireland
more than when i was in england insured me FC with European breakdown cover for around £480 and gave me a years free NCB because I'd been driving so long
Now with Admiral at £620 TPFT no breakdown cover back in Northern Ireland!
Try using www.confused.com
Tried confused.com that was one of the worst, them churning out quotes of £2500-3000
Endsleigh seem the best, £1389 for a 1.0i 1997 corsa, £1550-1600 for a 1.2i 1995-1997 corsa and £1800 for a 1.4i cdx corsa
These are only provisional quotes, will the end ones differ much?
I was quoted around 900-1000 for tpft my first year online. 1400 in some places (1.1 106). In the end was 670 with endsleigh (had pass plus mind). So you do have to call a lot.

My town shares the Oldham Postcode (Rochdale)
That might not help things..

i just got quoted £1600 Fully comp for a 1998 Renault Megane 1.6RT Sport. 19yrs old, licence for under a year with pass plus.
Do make sure u phone the companies up, rather than just relying on the web quotes.
