Am I the only one who is a little bit cynical about this post?.......... Has it been confirmed as legit? For example, most customer service reps will, in my experience, include their name and department when posting on forums that they are new to. The above post seems a bit....... amateurish.

We do tend to give such posts a severe looking at - either when we see them or if they are reported. Its usually fairly clear when a post is genuine or spam, but sometimes there is a bit of judgement/experience required. But querying something is fine by us - usually the report post button is the best route. We will try and acknowledge these with action taken, but it isn't always possible - but that doesn't mean we don't appreciate them!
