he doesn't have a 1.2 badge on the back, just on the sides.
I really need to learn to read threads
Still need to race u down at the pod chap
Not sure about this air twisting balls tho....
i have just bought a clio 1.2 16 valve , 2003 model and i have black rims and its a black car. im new to modification of cars as this is my first car , anyone have any ideas where i should start when it comes to engine modifications?
Cor heck, thread revival!
Truth be told with the 1.2 lump - don't waste your time. Save the money and get something quicker!
Have you even still got the Clio Lowe?
well i havent bought it yet , but am looking at it tomorow n have cash to buy , but the thing is i was going to buy a saxo vtr but insurance wise its much cheeper for the clio and the saxo i looked at looked like a monkey modded it with a blindfold on and with no hands !
is there any suggestions at all for the clio?
and what other cars would you suggest? i also looked into toyota starlets as i know a few people witht hem and theres are quick , but only as theyn have spent alot on engine mods.
Firstly - how old are you and what sort of no claims bonus do you have?
Forget Starlets unless you've got money to burn since the insurance on one of those is *not* going to be cheap.
Dave - that Clio (the Turbo) was 2 cars ago - and I don't even have my current car any longer!
If you cant find a std VTR your the blind monkey
There are hundreds and hundreds for sale.
If your 17 then they are going to shaft you for a saxo as they are the car of choice for your average idiot 17 y/o ( not saying you are one ofc ) and they get crashed alot..
If you're looking at the saxo vtr then look at the fiesta zetec s too. Im looking for my second car at the moment, test drove a standard vtr and loved it, they're not exactly fast but they handle VERY well. The zetec s is a tiny bit slower but its safer and more reliable, well worth a look. Insurance was also cheaper for me despite it being a group higher on insurance
Does no one ever just buy a 106 1.1 anymore?
They go really well, and the money you save on running and insurance can be spent on a few Rally Experience days

Everyone i know has started out with 1.1s etc bar a few rich spoilt kids
I started with a 1l fiat panda still have it, had it for just over 2 years and the insurance is affordable on something better now (£850 comprehensive on fiesta zetec s)
I got my dad to buy my car.
But then it was only 500 quid. I had to pay insurance.
No point having a fast car as your first. You will crash trying to show off.
