After the set back with the seats I've moved on to other stuff.
Firstly, Jiff's suggestion about my dials - it was taken. Got stopped by some coppers not that long ago for no reason at 1am in the morning. Turns out they just wanted to have a nose at the dials and stuff in the car. I can do without this attention, so the dial on the A pillar has now gone. The bright silver faced centre dials have been replaced with much more subtle black faced dials which are near invisible to a following car.
Next up:
She's going to have some serious body work. Worry not, we're not going for a body kit. Instead I'm having two new rear arches, to stop the rust. Secondly the engine bay is going to be re-welded and any rust cut out. Whilst this is being done, the front bumper will be chucked (it's mashed after trying to fit a FMIC in it). It will be replaced by a Clio 16v bumper, with the foglights replaced by two of these:
I'm debating what to link them up to - either my brakes (currently fed by deflectors under the car to cool the discs down) or to one of these:
After speaking to the UK distributors at Autosport, I'm going to give one a go. I'm a little concerned that I won't see much increase and I'll lose the cool turbo noises... but we'll see.
Finally, the bonnet is being resprayed to get rid of the stone chips, and then having the front badge took off and blended in
