I used to just hide it in the glovebox - then my car got broken into and stereo stolen. Now i remove it completely. But it seems that this won't be enough to stop them as they will hope the fascia is still in the car. They just might leave the stereo in if they can't find the fascia. Or if they steal it and you have a kenwood - you will be able to get a free replacement if you have the fascia and can provide proof of forced entry.

Even taking the fascia and leaving glove box open did'nt stop my 306 getting broken into twice. Once Drivers door lock was drilled out, second passenger door frame bent out using crow bar.

    *head back on topic*

I've an MP3 head unit, few backups include

    Beatles - anthology
    pink floyd - Echos
    Keane
    Katie Melua
Alison Krauss & Union Station - Live
    Girls Aloud

Mainly listern to Radio 2 on the commute, MP3 for the longer journey.

I always take out the facia...this is Liverpool. The only exception being the petrol station when I go and pay in the kiosk, or if i'm making a quick postal drop.

As for music, MP3 head unit here aswell, on the MP3 CD you will find two sorts of music...heavy, and indeed, metal. Little bit of the standard rock aswell.

Highlights include (but are not limited to...)

Foo Fighters, Korn, Rammstein, Franz Ferdinand, Evanescence, Metallica, GNR, Soil, SOAD, Killswitch Engage....you get the idea!
