I used to just hide it in the glovebox - then my car got broken into and stereo stolen. Now i remove it completely. But it seems that this won't be enough to stop them as they will hope the fascia is still in the car. They just might leave the stereo in if they can't find the fascia. Or if they steal it and you have a kenwood - you will be able to get a free replacement if you have the fascia and can provide proof of forced entry.Originally Posted by Howard

i take facia with me and leave glove box open to show chavs they would be wasting there effortOriginally Posted by Howard
Even taking the fascia and leaving glove box open did'nt stop my 306 getting broken into twice. Once Drivers door lock was drilled out, second passenger door frame bent out using crow bar.
*head back on topic*
I've an MP3 head unit, few backups include
Beatles - anthology
pink floyd - Echos
Keane
Katie Melua
Alison Krauss & Union Station - Live
Girls Aloud

Purple Inferno (my mate's band) (found on www.soundclick.com)- V.Good
AC/DC
Thin Lizzy
Black Sabbath
Hayseed Dixie
Nirvana
Infact anything with drums and a guitar!!!

I always take out the facia...this is Liverpool. The only exception being the petrol station when I go and pay in the kiosk, or if i'm making a quick postal drop.
As for music, MP3 head unit here aswell, on the MP3 CD you will find two sorts of music...heavy, and indeed, metal. Little bit of the standard rock aswell.
Highlights include (but are not limited to...)
Foo Fighters, Korn, Rammstein, Franz Ferdinand, Evanescence, Metallica, GNR, Soil, SOAD, Killswitch Engage....you get the idea!
Heavy Metal, Black Metal, Thrash Metal etc etc anything metal some scary stuff to, I scare most of my mates with the stuff I listen to, heres a short list of the playlist of the last few days:
Anaal Nathrakh - Domine non es dignus (Season of Mist)
Lamb of God - As The Palaces Burn
Exodus - Tempo of the Damned
Arch Enemy - Anthems of Rebelion
Pissing Razors - Cast Down the Plague
At The Gates - Slaughter of the Soul
Strapping Young Lad - City
Superjoint Ritual - A Lethal Dose of American Hatred
Almost forgot:
Iron Maiden back catalogue
Metallica back catalogue
Megadeath
Slayer
Pantera
Basically you name it and its heavy I will have it in the car at some point
Thats it so far, got about another 400 metal albums ranginf from the likes of sabbath and priest from the 70's all the way to the scariest of underground metal
