Owww. Puts my best efforts on a bike to shame. Get well soon.

    How'd it happen mate?

Looks like the bike is rescuable too, just need new forks, maybe front wheel. My brother lunched his frame in a much less serious accident than that....

    Rich :¬)

    p.s. what's an orbital?

yeah im mostly healed now. quite alot of the cuts (note that was all after cleaning - thats not just blood on the surface its all cuts) were clean and not too deep. still got a few of the deeper ones left on my shoulder and round my eye but im ok. got a letter saying im to blame for the car damages and i have to pay, so we'll see about that..

orbital is v unusual mate - ive never seen a single person in real life with a cartilidge orbital. occasionally i see flesh ones but never a cartilidge one. quite tricky to do thou.

S'easy! I had a 2mm conch to helix orbital going on a few years ago - just have to make sure it's all healed fully before putting a ring through them both :>

b**locks. just got a letter claiming i did £1900 of damage to this car. which i have to pay for. which i find a little hard to believe - is a p-reg vw polo 1.4 really worth that much??? surely it was a right-off....

Depending on condition of the car and the mileage i'd say the whole car would be worth anything between £2800 and £1400.

Whose fault was the accident in the first place anyway?..
