Just met up with a guy from the CRX club. His SiR CRX has had a turbo conversion and uprated internals. Normal B16 VTEC lump otherwise, with a handmade £800 exhaust.

ANYWAY... recently dyno'd at about 320hp (at the wheels) and this evening only running 8psi boost and about 270 hp (at the wheels still)... I have never been in such an amazing machine! 0-100 comes up in the blink of an eye... in 5th gear it pulls like mine does in 2nd, and that's before VTEC.

For Ten Of The Best it's going to have taller gearing and should be good for 170-180 mph. All of this, in a CRX... it's just mind blowing...

Impressive what on earth is the power to weight ratio on that? Will it be enough to stave off the 900BHP skylines and supras?

TOTB aint just about top speed/acceleration tho unfortunatley, all that power in FWD...

Butuz, it was beating Skylines last year and that was with a less tuned engine

It handles too Trig... full roll cage, braces and suspension that the guy's spent years getting just right.

I am not up on TOTB really, is it just a straight line launch or is it a track thing too?

And what skyline was it shad, the GTS-T or GTR? Tuned?

ive been in a 450bhp supra, which was mental....

crx's are crazy because they are so damn small, i used to know a guy who had one, wasnt overly powerfull, but still a crazy carf all the same.

That kinda CRX conversion is serious mulla!
Sounds like a bit of a monster, especially in such a tiny shell. Wouldn't mind having a go but likely to scare me silly! lol
