Just incase you guys haven't seen this, there's a new GTR demo available. It's blummin awesome and you get to rag a 360GTR senseless around Spa with full realism!

Sim mode + 360 + no driving aids = joystick nearly implanted in my monitor.

Also, what wheel+pedal kits do people recommend? Not bothered about force feedback unless it's nice and smooth, needs to be robust, etc. I had an MS force feedback wheel a while ago and it used gears, sounded terrible and was a real let down.

If you can get hold of one, a Saitek R440 is a good wheel, about £45. Hard to find though. Logitech wheels are always good, either the Driving Force Pro (thats the GT4 one CocoPops has) or the Momo.

Wow! Been driving the S7R round the track for the past half hour and it sure is fun! Just listening to the whine of the engine and mechanics is quite something. It's a lot harder to control in Sim mode than Arcade mode too

If a racing game is at all playable on the keyboard it means the physics are so far wrong that it shouldnt be called driving at all.

It's rare you get a game that can't be played properly on a decent stick, however I just can't get around Spa without spinning on a joystick. I'd love to be able to use a wheel, but my room (loft floor!) means I've nothing to clamp the wheel to!
