4 Minors in one box equals a drive flaw and therefore a fail, Emzay got 5 for the sub cat. mirros, but a 2 in one, 2 in another and 1 in another, if she got 4 in mirrors before changing speed it would have been a driver fault. IIRC the 16th minor = a fail, you can get 15 minors ( spread over boxes making less than 4 in any one box ).

Congrats anyway Emzay, Passed mine nearly a month ago now, took me nearly 2 weeks to realize I could actually legally drive ( proberly didn't help I didn't get a car for 2-3 weeks after ) When you first drive off by yourself it's great mind, stay safe though, it's easy to forget things quickly!

    Nice one

I wasn't so lucky yesterday. I drove nearly flawlessly getting only 4 or 5 minor's, but he gave me a major for not checking the right hand window when doing a reverse around a left corner manoeuvre.

    Harsh I thought...

Unlucky Allen, i feel for you. It is a little harshe, but not checking before you manouver could be fatal so you have to understand why they have to fail you. =/

heard a fantastic little trick for your driving test.

when you adjust your mirrors , adjust them so they are slightly out.
this means that you have to physically move your head to get the best view in them , thus showing that you are always checking your mirrors.

I checked my blind spot before starting the manoeuvre, but I didn't look right during the manoeuvre whilst starting to turn. Other than that, it was a perfect turn, about a foot from the curb all the way round and not having to correct myself.

Unlucky there mate. Thing is examiners want you to drive 'their'(use term loosely) way. Well at least you wont make the same mistake again
