So I've got a runabout for a few months.....

1.8 LX R reg for a billy bargain price from Our very own Zakky

I have to say I'm very happy with it , its not the most exciting of drives , but it will get me from a to b in reasonable comfort , which is all I want it to do.

It'll make me appreciate the 200 when it gets back on the road all that more. I may even hang onto it for a daily drive and save the 200 for weekends

My daily commute is not good for the car - it barely has a chance to get warm. Even though I dont like to clean my car ,I do care for its engine

the Mondeo does what it says on the can - the handling is fine (mainly as dont drive like an eejit ) and I'm never going to be breaking any land speed records in it.

Now....front tyres up a tad over the book value...2 or 3 psi, stop them flexing.
Scrabble wagon my arse...its got agod allround balancethat car. It turns, it stops...in fact..HELL IT STOPS I have no idea what the bloke had done to those brakes but it DOES STOP.

I hate black alloys. I thought they were painted over silver..maybe they were original like that then. Dontask me...I just sell 'em mate But least you dont need to clean the brake dust off

And the last thought is this: scrabblel wagon or not, it snowed this am. FWD holds a certain efectiveness over the Hundy.
