Question is this problem serious with my car

Ive found a blocked vacume hose on my 1996 corsa, and the crud that has blocked the vacume hose has started to block the main hose that is exiting the engine at the top, now this hose is the one that goes into the plastic above carb and as a result my car is stalling intermitantly not all the time and if i replace the hose that is blocked whats to say it won't get blocked again, so has anyone had this problem before or has any suggestions

just unblock the hose. stick high pressure water (or similar) thru it and it will all be nice and clear. will probably fill up again, but lets face it, it took 9 years to do it this time - i dont really think the car will still be running in 9 years time??

Corsa don't have a carb. its a single point injection system. The stalling might be caused by that, and it is worth cleaning out, BUT it'smore likely to be a sensor that maintains tickover that needs changing

Possibly the idle airway for when the throttle body's shut is gunked up?

I had the same problem with my 106. Got it checked out and was told there a pipe which led from below the vacume hose to the inlet manifold had came off plus the gunk was cleaned out.
