Well possibly, its looking fairly likely, just need to shift my clio now.
Westfield with a 2.0 Vauxhall lump with Throttle Bodies, almost ready, SVA test in next few weeks.
I just need to sell my clio 182 and it could become reality.

It does have a hood, just not fitted yet.
That gets done after SVA test.
but tbh, if you're going fast enough, you don't get wet
Dare I ask how much?
That thing is hot.

Time, once more, to thank cosworth.
This particular car is:
less than 500kg
pushing around 180ish
nearly finished
Just needs to go through SVA and be registered.
The guy that built it has built one previously, so everything on this one is an improvement over his last one etc.
Workmanship is spot on, down to every last clip, strap, cable tie etc.
Got to get a few insurance quotes, confirm with the bank the money is available and then strike a deal.
Basically, the sum of parts for this car should be around £12k, but he will sell for £10k if I registered the car (he'd have to spend £170 on tax, £300 on insurance etc just to register it to sell).
It will be Q plate registered, which put me off to start with..... until he said that if it was reg'd as an 04/54/05 etc it would have to have a cat and pass the strict emissions, a q plate only has to have no visible smoke So those TBs can be tuned properly.
Will keep you all informed.
